I took my little Chihuahua in because she wasn't feeling good and not eating. The doc checked her out and said not to worry. He thought she just had a tummy ache. He said he could do blood work on her but he was suspicious that it would come back ok. I asked him in his professional opinion if he thought it was necessary and he said no. He gave her some medicine for her tummy while I was there with her and sent me home with some for her. I like the idea that he was honest with me about not doing anything that wasn't needed. If she would have needed the bloodwork I would have let him do it. He didn't prey on me and my feelings. There needs to be more caring vets like him. He and his staff are very compassionate people who genuinely care about the welfare and health of each animal that comes through their door. Sophie is feeling much better and is eating like normal.
